Programming

  • Languages - (in order of familiarity)
    • Python - programming language of choice. With packages like Django and NumPy
    • JavaScript (& TS) - with all the npm goodies
    • Java, C - basic familiarity with these guys
  • Databases - Designing and maintaining both PostgreSQL and Mongo DBs
  • Web Tech - React, D3, Webpack... Remember when HTML was enough to make a website?
  • AWS Services - S3, Lambda, SQS... Makes developing more convenient than one day shipping
  • Unix - I have forsaken the desktop for the command line
  • Docker - Stop installing things and start developing
  • Git - No other way to write code. Check out my GitHub!
  • Computer Vision - The magic of CV: function(image) => return math(image) 🎉

Life Skills

  • Math - I happen to be pretty good at this and enjoy it too! (Award on experience page)
  • Fast Learner - The trick, the ability to effictively skim results on Google and Stack Overflow
  • Hard Working - People sometimes ask if I'm a morning person or a night person. I reply "a person person"
  • Good Communicator - I actually think I'm just a good listener, but often this is enough to pass as a good communicator

  • Repairing things - My motto is: "if you want it done right, don't do it yourself", but that is not nearly as much fun
  • Bookbinding - Unlike e-books, paper books still fall apart
